When it was time to put Luke down for his nap today, I thought he was just playing quietly in his room. I guess he decided to put himself down for a nap early...on the top bunk!
In other news, we had an exterior pipe burst Saturday night. This was our first experience of something bad happening that we were 100% responsible for (no warranty or base housing maintenance to the rescue!). Thankfully the carpet is now dry and the plumber has already fixed the problem. We were afraid that it was going to cost thousands of dollars, but were happy to only have to pay $150.
Erin noticed the carpet wet in an area we hardly ever walk on. I was so happy she found it (after the frenzy of stopping the water!)
