On our way home from our trip to New Mexico, we stopped at White Sands National Monument. We only stayed an hour, but it was well spent! The weather was perfect (75F) and it was a glorious day! My only regret is that we didn't plan more time there.
They were so excited to get on top of their first dune!
I'm amazed at the brilliant blue sky. I did not enhance or change any colors!
Please ignore my lack of hairstyling skills, but I'll blame the wind on that (and traveling). Hehe.
The sand was so fine and felt so good to play in.
Sliding down was fun too, but the consequence was a lot of sand...everywhere!

Even running down was fun because the sand molded to your body.
