Red Rock Canyon

Spring semester starts tomorrow for me, so I thought I should squeeze a little blogging in before I jump back into school.

Since today was a Federal holiday, Howard and the children were off of work/school.  We decided to go to Red Rock Canyon as a family.  We were there for a few hours and practically had to drag the kids home. They didn't want to leave.  Since we live about 15 minutes from Red Rock, we promised that we would be back soon.

We really had a nice time. I was very nervous initially, since I don't like the idea of rocks falling on my children and crushing them. Or having them fall off a cliff.  After a while of hand holding and going over safety rules, we let the kids explore a little more freely. As it turned out, I was probably the weakest family member.  This is primarily due to the loss of strength I have experienced in my hands, wrists, and elbows since my surgeries last spring.

Enjoy the picture overload!

Jack is actually my most animated child, but for some reason he is always so serious in his photographs. Weird!

 Proof that I exist!
