Happy Birthday to Me...Yesterday

She was 6 lbs, 8 oz and born on Easter Sunday at 9:07pm at Riverside Community Hospital...

30 years ago!

In case you were wondering, yes that's me!  Can't you see the resemblance?

I didn't even know this picture existed until about 2 years ago.  I'm sure glad my Mom found it.

I'm having difficulty downloading my pictures to my computer, so this is as good as it's going to get.  Howard surprised me with new sunglasses and flowers.  He also made me a delicious cake. It's kind of a big deal because it would be like me changing the oil in his car for him.  I could do it, but it's not my thing...and I would have to follow step by step instructions and it would probably take me 2 hours. 

My birthday was bittersweet.  It made me miss my Mom (more).  I wasn't really expecting the sad emotions to come back so strongly, but I felt the love from family and friends yesterday so that really helped.

Apparently a 5 1/2 " screen is better to watch a movie on than a 40" flat screen  w/surround sound.

We're not 100% complete.  We still need to do some touch up painting, hang up all of our art work, and put in the transition molding from the tile to the wood.  We also have to sell our old desk that is strategically out of this picture, but still in the middle of the room. We also would like a rug in front of the couches, but that will be a little while until we can find the perfect one.

We love our new living area!
